The segment was extracted from an episode of Revenge. The woman lost her memory, so she asks a lot of questions, such as “Where am I?” and “Who am I?”.The snippet is a good way of learning and/or practicing wh- questions.
Suggested procedures:
Before watching: have students do tasks 1, 2 and 3 in pairs or in groups.
While watching: have students watch the segment and do tasks 4, 5 and 6.
After watching: if necessary, give students an explanation about wh- words. Then get them to do tasks 7, 8 and 9. You can suggest a role-play activity after they finish creating their own dialogues.
Time: 20 minutes.
